Dear St. Juliana Parish and School Community,
One of the greatest blessings of St. Juliana is that we are more than a parish and more than a school. We are one faith community, brought together by our love of Christ and our commitment to passing our faith on to the next generation.
At the heart of that mission is our incredible teachers. Their unwavering dedication, passion, and care shape the lives of our students every day.
At St. Juliana, our teachers choose Catholic education because they believe deeply in the mission of forming not only the minds, but also the hearts and faith of our children. They go above and beyond to provide academic excellence while instilling the Catholic values that are at the heart of our school.
While SJS provides salaries as competitive as the Archdiocese allows, we recognize that our teachers make a significant financial sacrifice by choosing Catholic education.
We believe we can do more.
Introducing the TEACH Fund
This year, St. Juliana is launching the TEACH Fund—Teachers Empowering and Advancing our Catholic Mission.
The idea for the TEACH Fund began with members of our school community who wanted to fund a meaningful way to provide additional support to our teachers and staff. What began as an idea has grown into an opportunity for our entire St. Juliana community to come together around something we all value; the people who help form the next generation of our faith.
The purpose is simple: to provide additional financial support directly to the teachers and staff who dedicate themselves to our children and to the mission of St. Juliana.
We invite our entire St. Juliana community to come together to support this effort. You may be a current school parent. You may be a grandparent whose grandchildren attend or attended St. Juliana. You may be an alumnus who still remembers a teacher who made a difference in your life. Or you may simply be a parishioner who believes that Catholic education is an important part of our parish mission.
Wherever you find yourself in the St. Juliana family, you can be part of this effort. Every gift matters. Whether you give $25, $100, $500, $1,000, or more, your contribution is a tangible way to say:
We see you. We appreciate you.
We believe in you and in the work you do.
One hundred percent of your tax-deductible contribution will go directly to the faculty and staff, proportionate to their role as a teacher or staff member and their full-time or part-time status.
The TEACH Fund is an ongoing commitment to our teachers, and we hope it will continue for years to come. But every journey has a starting point.
December 1—Giving Tuesday—is our first campaign goal. We invite our entire St. Juliana community to come together and help us build the momentum and participation needed to make this program a lasting success. Gifts received by December 1 will be included in the first distribution to our faculty and staff before Christmas.
December 1 isn't the finish line. It's our starting line.
I invite you to prayerfully consider making a gift at whatever level is meaningful for you. When we support our teachers, we support our children. When we support our children, we strengthen our parish, we help ensure that our Catholic faith continues to flourish for generations to come.
With gratitude and prayers.
