Thursday is Loyola shadow day for our 8th graders and Friday is shadow day for the 8th grade girls. If you signed the sheet indicating the days your child is shadowing you do not have to call them in.

 

Conferences are on Thursday and Friday so there is early dismissal on these days (11:30).

 

6th grade religion: test on Friday

7th grade religion: maybe a test at the end of the week

8th grade religion: starting a new chapter

The HSPT class starts on Monday after school from 3:15-5:15. Please make sure that your child has the prep book when they leave for school on Monday. There is a short break between school dismissal and start of the HSPT class so send a snack with your child if you want.

 

Shadow day for Regina is on Wednesday. If you filled out the sheet telling us that your daughter is shadowing at Regina you do not have to call them in. It is not an absent day for the girls.

 

We will be having an all school rosary on Friday in honor of Mary. I will also be saying a decade of the rosary during the days of May at the start of each of my classes. If your child has a rosary, please send it to school with them for this month.

 

6th grade--Chapter 3 test on Tuesday. If for some reason we're not able to complete a review I will move the test to  Wednesday.

7th grade--Chapter 3 test on Wednesday.

8th grade--Chapter 3 test on Tuesday.

The Junior High Handbook was sent home this afternoon with your sons and daughters. Please sign and send back the last page in the handbook. This page indicates to us whether or not your child will be bringing a phone to school with them.

Please check the skirt length on your daughters' skirts. Some of the girls do need to either purchase a new skirt or wear khakis. The rule is that the bottom of the skirt must be at least at your fingertips when you stretch your arms down straight. Hope that makes sense???

There will be representatives from many of the local high schools here next Tuesday (Sept. 10) from 8:30-9:30 in the school hall. 7th graders will attend the fair from 8:30-9:00 and the 8th graders from 9:00-9:30. Parents are welcome.
