Mr. Kerstetter is happy to join the staff at St. Juliana School. Mr. Kerstetter looks forward to sharing his lifelong passion for history and has long been interested in teaching. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Mr. Kerstetter attended Georgetown University on an ROTC scholarship majoring in International Relations. Mr. Kerstetter then briefly served in the military where he was trained as a Scout Platoon Leader and served with Troop C/9th Cavalry in the Army Reserves.
Mr. Kerstetter also graduated from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and worked at a major law firm in Philadelphia. Mr. Kerstetter later moved to the Chicagoland area to work for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) where he eventually became an Assistant Director in the Enforcement Division. Mr. Kerstetter retired from the SEC last year and is currently attending Dominican University to obtain a Master’s Degree in Education.
Mr. Kerstetter currently lives with his wife in River Forest where he attends St. Luke St. Bernardine Parish. Mr. Kerstetter and his wife have two adult children.
